Our team is trained to work with straight, wavy, curly, coily, and textured hair, and every appointment is an opportunity to make you feel seen, cared for, and more confident in your own hair.
Pangaea opened in 2013 with a vision that ran counter to how the beauty industry typically operated. Salons often separated services by hair type or texture, creating an unspoken divide. We knew there had to be a better way: one welcoming, highly skilled environment where everyone could walk in and know they belonged.
Pangaea Salon was founded by Carol Marshall after years of working in salons that felt fragmented – divided by service type, texture, and the unspoken expectation that not everyone was equally welcome. The name “Pangaea” refers to the ancient supercontinent, when all of the Earth’s land was connected as one. That idea is the foundation of everything we do: bringing people together through hair, education, and shared experience.
Over more than a decade in Denver, we’ve grown into a multicultural, inclusive team known especially for our curly and textured hair expertise, and for the real, relationship-driven energy that fills this space. Our team is made up of licensed stylists who are serious about what they do, committed to continued education, and genuinely invested in every guest they serve.

We do welcome walk-ins when we have availability. That said, booking in advance is always the best way to guarantee time with your preferred stylist and ensure your appointment is set up properly for your hair’s needs, especially for color, curly cuts, and textured hair services.

Yes! We welcome guests of all ages at Pangaea. We offer haircut services for kids and work to make every young guest feel comfortable and at ease throughout their appointment.
The easiest way to book is through our online scheduling system, available anytime on our website. You can browse our full service menu, check stylist availability, and choose a time that works for your schedule. Prefer to reach out directly? You’re always welcome to call or text our main number and our team will be happy to help.
Booking availability varies by stylist, so get in touch to find out what appointments we have available. For color services, curly cuts, and more involved appointments, we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred stylist and time.
A valid card on file is required to complete your booking. Certain services — including color, specialty, and longer appointments — require a deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are applied toward the total cost of your service.
We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or appointment changes. This allows us to take care of our stylists and offer the time to other guests who may be waiting. The following fees apply:
Cancellations within 48 hours: 30% of the service total
Cancellations within 24 hours: 50% of the service total
No-shows: 100% of the service total
If something comes up, please reach out as soon as possible. We’re always happy to work with you when we can.
We offer a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you’re running behind, please text or call us as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate you. Arrivals beyond the grace period may result in a shortened service or rescheduling, depending on the day’s schedule.

Guests who do not arrive for their appointment without advance notice will be charged 100% of the service total. Repeated no-shows may require a deposit for future bookings.
Pangaea Salon is a welcoming, inclusive space, for our guests and our team. We ask all guests to treat our staff and fellow guests with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who behaves in a way that is disrespectful, discriminatory, or harmful to our team or our community.
All services are listed with starting prices on our website. Final pricing may vary based on stylist experience level, hair length and density, and the complexity of the service. Your stylist will communicate pricing with you before beginning any service.
