Job Qualifications

• Active Cosmetology License in accordance with state regulations.
• 1+ years of salon experience preferred, but motivated newer stylists with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of cutting, coloring, styling, and professional finishing techniques.
• Excellent consultation and communication skills.
• Passion for continuing education and staying current with industry trends.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to build and retain a loyal clientele through exceptional service.
• Comfortable recommending retail products and home care solutions to support guest results.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed.

Job Duties

• Deliver exceptional hair services including haircuts, custom color, highlights, balayage, blonding, styling, and treatments.
• Conduct thorough consultations to understand each guest’s goals and recommend personalized services.
• Educate clients on styling techniques, maintenance schedules, and professional product recommendations.
• Build meaningful relationships that encourage long-term guest loyalty and referrals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation while following all state sanitation regulations.
• Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to create a positive, supportive salon culture.
• Accurately schedule appointments and document client formulas and service notes.
• Meet individual performance goals while contributing to the overall success of the salon.
• Represent the salon’s brand with professionalism, integrity, and outstanding customer service during every guest interaction.
